Roshni Norum

Hi, my name is Roshni Norum and I am proud to be Fitcamper of the month!
Exercising and being active has always been a part of my life, but as a mostly-stay at home mom of three kids, I was finding it harder and harder to find the time to fit exercise into my life.  I had started training to run a marathon, but when the long runs started taking too much of a toll on my body, I lost my motivation.  After a few years of treadmill running in my basement, I knew that I wanted to find a more social atmosphere that didn’t break the bank, and worked with my crazy life schedule.
In March of 2012 my husband was diagnosed with a rare liver disease and by October started becoming more and more ill, with more frequent hospitalizations.  The only treatment option for him is a complete organ transplant and we are waiting anxiously for the call. By the time January rolled around, I decided that I needed to do something to take care of me, and signed up for my first class with Chanceformations. It turned out to be everything I was looking for, and more, and I was completely hooked after the very first class. Sore…..but hooked!
What I love about Chanceformations is that each class is different, and every workout leaves me feeling energized and upbeat. My goals revolve around getting stronger, and I am constantly surprised by how much I am able to push myself, and the results that I see make me want to push even harder. The trainers are terrific, and the people that I have met and now call my friends are the most amazing source of support I could have ever asked for.
My family is under a cloud of emotional stress at all times, and Chanceformations is my outlet for “me” time. I look forward to every class, work hard, laugh a lot, and leave each class knowing that by doing good for myself I am ensuring that I am able to hold up for my family during this difficult time.
Chance, Teresa, Carol, and my fellow fitcampers - I can’t thank you enough for what you have brought into my life.
